Password Lockout

If you forget your password or make three unsuccessful attempts to access your account, the account will be locked for five minutes:

  1. Click the Forgot Password link in the onscreen message. The challenge questions you selected at your first login are displayed.
  2. After you answer the challenge questions, an email will be sent to your email address (the address on your user profile) with a temporary password that must be changed at the next login.
  3. Your account will be unlocked in approximately fifteen minutes.

NOTE:  After one lockout, the account will lock after only one unsuccessful login attempt and you will have to wait five minutes before another attempt at logging in.  For this reason, it is preferable to use the Forgot Password functionality rather than repeatedly attempting to access the application.
